Just 1 of 12 Chelsea Deeds Recorded Since Late July Show a Sale Price

The Suffolk County Registry of Deeds recorded 12 Chelsea property transfers between July 24 and Aug. 22, but only one, a $585,000 sale of a Pearl Street condominium unit, disclosed a sale price. Linda Costanzo sold the unit to Jescenia Lopez and Joan Cromwell. The remaining 11 deeds, including four July 24 transfers among Perez family sellers and buyers on Washington Avenue, Washington Street, Franklin Avenue and Carmel Street, listed no consideration amount. Several transactions involved banks or mortgage servicers as sellers or buyers. With pricing data available for only one of 12 recorded deeds, the month's overall market direction cannot be determined from this dataset.
