Chelsea Property Transfers Total 11 in Late Summer, Most Prices Undisclosed

Chelsea recorded 11 property deeds between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only two disclosed a sale price: $100,000 for 60 Dudley St Unit 202 and $832,500 for 125 Garfield Ave, the period's top sale. The median of the two disclosed prices is $466,250. The other nine transactions listed no consideration amount, a common feature of deed data. Records show at least five transactions involved a bank, mortgage company or MERS as buyer or seller, and three moved property between individuals and their own living trusts. No two sales shared a street, and three involved condominium units.
