Chelsea Home Sales Range From $75,000 To $712,474 In Late July
Chelsea recorded 12 property transfers between July 10 and Aug. 8, but only three listed a disclosed sale price: $712,474 for 109 Library St., $470,000 for a Walnut Street condo unit, and $75,000 for a Dudley Street condo unit, for a median of $470,000 among disclosed sales. Eight of the 12 transfers involved a bank, mortgage servicer or loan company as buyer or seller, including Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc., US Bank NA, Citizens Bank NA and East Cambridge Savings Bank. Condominium units accounted for seven of the 12 recorded transfers. With price data available for only a quarter of transactions, the period's overall market tone cannot be determined from this dataset alone.
